We're seeking a Contract Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic and litigation-heavy practice in Sacramento. This is an immediate need - a flexible, high-impact role supporting one of our key Partners on a wide range of litigation matters. This is a contract role intended as a stop-gap measure until a permanent hire is made - an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator who can hit the ground running.
Draft and respond to discovery in active civil litigation matters
Prepare expert disclosures in compliance with California litigation standards
Handle and cover simple depositions confidently and professionally
Collaborate closely with Partner Gabriel Ulrich, whose litigation practice spans tort, employment, professional negligence, and more
Assist in managing a busy litigation caseload involving both state and federal courts
Ensure timely and effective communication across legal and administrative teams
Active California bar license
Strong experience in civil litigation, especially drafting discovery and disclosures
Comfortable covering simple depositions independently
Start Date: ASAP (ideally within the next week or two)
Schedule: Flexible - open to part-time or full-time depending on availability
Compensation: DOE
